Dr. Yuchi Peng
Medical Director

Dr. Yuchi Peng is an established physician and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA.  He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Indian University School of Medicine in 1992.  He has extensive background in laser and oncology and is also a Fellow of American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

With great passion for the field of medical cosmetics, he has extensive knowledge and experience in dermatology, laser, and cosmetics from his years of private practice.

He also attended postgraduate training in cosmetic dermatology and has vast and extensive experience in the field of medical aesthetic, including laser hair removal, photorejuvenation, basic and advanced Botox Cosmetic administration, dermal fillers, as well as Mesotherapy and Sclerotherapy.

In addition to his extensive training, certification, and experience in medical esthetics, he is double board certified in as a National Examiner and Radiology Oncologist, completing his residency in Radiation Oncology.

As the medical director, Dr. Peng provides the direct hands on training to all his staff, updates and reviews all medical protocols and procedures to ensure the ultmost client's safety and effectiveness.

Christine Choum
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

Christine is a Nurse Practitioner for over 13 years, specializing in family practice, women's health, and medical aesthetics.  She attended Harbor-UCLA specializing in OB/GYN and Family Nurse Practitioner, where she had extensive dermatology training and experience.  She has completed undergraduate work from University of Phoenix and received Master Degree of Science in Nursing with honors from Cal State Long Beach.  She has had vast and extensive post-graduate training in the medical field of esthetic.  In addition to certified in Medical Aesthetic Specialist, she is double board certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner through National Certification Corporation as well as Family Nurse Practitioner through Academy of Nurse Practitioner.

Christine has been trained with Dr. Gregory Chernoff, the renowed plastic surgeons through Lumenis.  She is certified and trained in Laser and IPL treatments on Lumenis, Light Sheer, Palomar, and Radiancy equipments.  Her great interest in the field of aesthetic medicine promoted her to expand her career and focus on aesthetic medical procedures.  Through Esthetic Skin Institute, She is also a Certified Medical Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in the art of Botox and dermal fillers administration, laser hair removal, photorejuvenation, Mesotherapy, sclerotherapy, as well as chemical peel and microdermabrasion.

Christine found that helping clients to improve their skin in extreme conditions ignited a true passion for skin care on every level.  With a commitment to the field of aesthetics, she is also a Licensed Esthetician.  As a Licensed Esthetician, she brings in vast knowledge of skin analysis, skin care products, and most importantly the essence of personalized skin care regimen.  As an experienced nurse practitioner with the great passion and commitment to the medical esthetic field, she brings to Hebe MedSpa medical knowledge, artistry, and creativity.  Whether a procedure or a consultation, she believes that patient comfort and bedside manners is a necessary part of a treatment as she advises patients on various skin related clinical issues.

As a Clinical Director, she oversees and supervises all medical procedures as well as providing all the training to the medical staff.  Staying current with ways to optimize treatment outcomes are of utmost importance to her.  She researches the latest cosmetic procedures and techniques used and she brings the newest and most effective techniques to Hebe MedSpa.  She understands that the decision to invest in any aesthetic procedure is a deeply personal one.  Her clients can expect the same quality of concerned, personalized care for which she is so well known.  Most importantly, they can expect the best possible results from their procedure of choice.
